Aladdin the Musical

The Junior’s play: Aladdin

Last Monday night, Juniors and Teens went to the theater to see the Juniors play the Musical “ Aladdin”.

It was a workshop option for the Juniors, and they worked really hard for making it possible to present. But their hard work was rewarded because the audience really enjoyed it!

I already knew the story, but I found the musical very amusing.
It included dance routines, singing moments, funny lines, lovely moments, and imaginative costumes and props. The actors knew their lines and performed very well, and they seemed to have fun onstage!  Even with a few technical problems, in my opinion the play was great!

Congratulations to Lydia (the director) and her crew, and to all the people who helped. They did a really good job!

Uni-hoc
By Santiago Ardid

This will be my last post, it has been three amazing weeks telling you about workshops and the staff, so let's get started.

Last Sunday, in multi activity I played unihoc. This sport consist in a 10 minute warm up, 20 minutes of exercises, like passes and a 30 minute multi team match.

It was really nice, even the staff played with us. To everyone who follows this blog, I hope to see you next year.

Pool Party

By Arkady Lapshov
It was great evening for everyone. But I expected that we would have more time in pool and more time to play water polo or other water games. But despite all this it was fantastic.
At first everyone saw diving boards and wanted to show off, but it wasn’t great idea because they have hit themselves from this altitude. After that only the bravest stayed on it.
By the way, even I hit my lag and it still hurts. Somebody tried to do flip, but only Aldo got it. At that time others have been splashing and playing with a ball.
After all we rushed to dressing rooms and there were crowds and everyone wanted to take a shower or got dress.
I was so tired so I didn’t want anything, I just came into my room and felt asleep.
Next morning was difficult because every part of my body hurt. But I think I want such party again.

FOOTBALL

Multi Activity

By Koki Kikuchi

Most of you have known about football, football was born in England’s public school in 18th century.
In England, Radley College, we moved violently on the ground. It was first time for me to play British football. Surprisingly, there were slight differences between Japanese’s and England’s football. After the mini-game, we used our physical fitness very much, so we laid on the ground during the rest of time. But it was a lot of fun!

Shopping in London-Regent Street

Shopping in London

-

Regent Street

On Monday we went to London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom. After we had visited the Tower of London, which was very interesting, we went to Regent Street, one of the major shopping streets in London’s West End. Many stores of big brands but also less-known shops can be found here. It is a very long street and it would take much time to go in every shop. But you have to bring some money with you because in some stores you can’t buy anything below £100. Regent Street is a must-have-seen in London because going shopping there is fun.

SCOTTISH SOCIETY
By Can and Joey

On the first day we painted our own skirt. I couldn't do it very well because I am not that good at art. When we all finished the skirt we went outside to play some games. One of the games called savannah is a game were you have to throw a bat and let it land on the other side. On the second day we learnt about Scottish dance. At First we learnt without music and afterwards we  learnt with music. We learnt two dance styles, the first one involved dancing in a group with five people and turning around after eight times. The other dance had two groups of people, six people in one group and three people in the other, I enjoyed this dance the most.
